Welcome to UK Poetry Podcast .com's new blog.

So far we have recorded and released 12 episodes of a poetry podcast in iTunes and through the website, www.ukpoetrypodcast.com

This is not our first iteration, originally the podcast was known as smellavision, and had grown out of my personal attempt to podcast my poetry. very quickly it became apparent that there was more than enough poets out there who not only wanted to get their performances on the net, but deserved a dedicated spot to do so.

To date we have had such poets as Aoife Mannix, Donall Dempsey, Michael Wyndham, Dorothy Fryd, Frank Burton and The Bros. Grimn, to name but a few of those that have appeared. Still to come in the next few months we have Niall O'Sullivan, Innua Ellams, John Paul O'Neil and Elvis McGonnagel, again to name but a few.

We have slam poets, performance poets and page poets, poets of all ages, places and preferences, and now we have you, dear reader. Please be patient with us as we get this blog up to speed, please comment on as much as you can, and please bring a little bit more poetry into the world.

Also look out for our first live night on the 5th of October at the Poetry Cafe in Covent Garden, London.
